OK, so we know that the sleep mode reboot problem is not specific to
just my S/N 001 board.  My plan for trying to fix this problem is as
follows:

1. Desolder the JP2 and JP3 jumper headers and solder direct wire
   jumpers in their place, using the thickest wire gauge that will fit
   into the plated through holes on the PCB.  These current measurement
   jumpers are after the big capacitor at C323, and they are a feature
   not present on any of our pre-existing Calypso targets, so perhaps
   they could be a culprit.

2. If the above does not help, try upping the 0402 caps at C220 and
   C221 from 100 nF to 1 uF.  Openmoko devices work fine with 100 nF
   caps there and TI's Leonardo reference schematics indicate the same,
   but who knows...

I would love it if you could beat me to trying the above. :)
