| 1 The little board to be built in this directory is going to be an addition to | |
| 2 the SIMtrace family: it will be a purely passive adapter, hosting a SIM socket | |
| 3 and a connector for the existing FPC cables from Sysmocom SIMtrace2 kit. This | |
| 4 passive adapter will allow strictly non-invasive observation with an | |
| 5 oscilloscope, particularly observation of SIM voltages being put out by | |
| 6 different old phones, without any active components that need to be powered, | |
| 7 that may be damaged by 5V phones, or that may alter SIM-ME interface behaviour | |
| 8 through introduction of alien power supplies, pull-ups or shifters. |
