| 1 Our lunalcd2 board built in 2021-08 (see ../lunalcd2 directory) was a success | |
| 2 for the most part, but there is one issue: there is an elastic force originating | |
| 3 somewhere in the area where the LCD module's FPC tail is folded under the body | |
| 4 of the module, this force acts against both gravity and the adhesive, and it | |
| 5 pushes the bottom of the LCD module upward, away from the PCB. | |
| 6 | |
| 7 Seeking to prevent this cosmetic problem (and possibly one of mechanical | |
| 8 reliability) on our upcoming Venus board, we got a little metal bracket | |
| 9 custom-made for us that is designed to hold the bottom of the LCD module in | |
| 10 place. The present lunalcd3 PCB is a copy of lunalcd2 with the addition of two | |
| 11 holes matching those in the bracket, thereby allowing this bracket to be used | |
| 12 to hold down the LCD module. |
